Plans for underground adventure with Ed.

What are we expecting to find. And how are we going to find it?

Secret London by Andrew Duncan

The book describes the overground walking routes of the Fleet River, the Tyburn and the River Effra. Describing the few times where it can be seen or heard from above ground. I find something really interesting in how there are tiny sections of the rivers unknown to the majority which you have to search hard to find the entrances and secrets concealed below ground.

Tyburn - Flows through an open conduit in the basement of an antique shop in Davies St.
Effra - Can be accessed through a manhole on Effra Road in Brixton or through a Crypt under St Lukes Church in West Norwood.
Fleet - Can be heard through a grate in Ray St. Harringdon in front of Coach and Horse House and a grid in the centre of Charter House where the fleet joins Farringdon Road.

I can see however, how I might be able to get carried away with the romantic ideas of lost London, and not put enough thought into the seriousness of this project, be it health and safety or the aims and ideas i want to communicate through doing this.

After tutorial we have been told to go out and get some context and fill out this idea with references to help us get something more out of the project.
Ideas put forward to look into -
-Senses being restricted,
-Experience of exploring,
-Being somewhere noone else has been before,
-Seeing things from a different point of view,
-Finding objects,
-Traces of life.

How are we going to successfully visualise our individual outcomes?
