I found a way in Quicktime where you can take a clip of video footage and change each second of the clip into 30 stills. This is perfect and just what i needed to capture those awkward moments within the footage, instead of taking a lot of time and effort to screen grab every clip at the right moments.
So this gives me a lot of stills to work with and a lot of questions arise...do i use all of the stills, is this neccessary? do i used just 3 of four sequential clips that capture a millisecond of footage?
I started experimenting with contact sheets in photoshop, seeing what looks good, what works, whether i am communicating what I want.
