201 lost objects // Regimental Museum, Shrewsbury
I like the idea of inventories, cataloging objects. So i took the photocopies i made from the Regimental museum and created an A1 poster, literally listing the objects in chronological order of when the items were lost. I wanted to keep them as simple as possible.
Then i got a bit stuck, so i started to find other lost property offices. And then i found one on the internet, gum tree has one. I found this fascinating, where people upload posts when they have lost or found things/people/animals.
So i decided to collate a catalogue of December's lost and found on Gumtree. Hopefully the start of a series of different places, an investigation into what kind of objects are lost and whether it differs for the place found.
