A fascinating book by various artists, mainly Keiran Brown that quite simply find discarded, lost or unwanted objects take them home, wash or recondition them and put them back to where they were found for the owner to reclaim.
Art that takes form as a gesture, or an act of kindness. A service to those who have lost.

The book consists of some beautiful photography that documents these objects before and after they were found, and in some cases, still from videos of people re-claiming the objects.

Wear yourself out, 2001
Discarded jumper photographed as found then cleaned and restored for resale. The photograph and the jumper were exhibited together.

Jumper return, 2004
Discarded jumper cleaned and returned to wear it was found.

I really like this idea, something nice about finding something and returning it, when you are eunsure the owner will collect it or whether it will find a new home entirely.
And the way it is presented, the book design is beautiful, making really simple ideas shine through the photography.
