I rented out a film slr from the central loan store as i wanted to take part in a black and white photography work shop to help me get to grips with photography and how to develop the photos properly - moving away from digital and back to the good old fashioned hands on method.
As i thought, the photos i captured were much more precious to me rhan if i would have gone out snapping with my digital slr. With only 36 pictures allowed (as the films are so expensive) i really had to think about what I wanted to capture and how i wanted the photos to look. I opted for taking mostly photos of people by themselves, trying to capture something about them. And i few of around Queens road and Battersea park, looking at light, shadows and how to focus on different aspects of the city scape.
