Photography Studio

We also thought it would be very important to get some good photography done during this project, so at three different occasions during the 7 weeks we booked out the photography studio for an afternoon. After a scary, quite apprehensive first few minutes of the first session we started to just have some fun, taking it in turns to model, photograph and choreograph. And we got some really good images out of it.
We wanted to capture some everyday life situations in Suidar, for example - eating, working, playing etc and also taking a look into fashion. We used a variety of different cameras, digital, SLR, film (black and white and colour) and I also got to try out my new xmas present - digital video camera - when we filmed for the signage and grand arc footage.
I learnt so much, of course after a very friendly and helpful (although being Camberwell - interrupted by a fire-drill) Induction session - but also from just going to the photography studio and trying lots of things out, seeing what worked and what didn't.
